Deleting your data
Last updated: 4 June 2026
Under the UK GDPR (Article 17, the "right to erasure") you have the right to have the personal data Postra processes about you deleted. Below is how to do it.
Option 1 — Delete your account from inside the app
Step by step:
- Sign in to your account at app.postra.pl.
- Go to Settings.
- In the Account section, open the Danger zone and click Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. This includes the access tokens for any social accounts you connected, your posts and scheduled publications, your media, and your analytics. Deletion completes within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your account or prefer to contact us directly, email us at:
In your message, include:
- the email address associated with your Postra account,
- a statement that you are requesting deletion of your data (e.g. "Please delete my data and account").
We will respond within 30 days and confirm that your data has been deleted.
What we delete
- account data (email address, username, password),
- OAuth access tokens for connected social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and others),
- posts and scheduled publications,
- media you uploaded or generated,
- analytics data associated with your account,
- activity history and session logs.
Data we may retain
In some cases we may retain limited data for as long as required by law (for example billing/invoice records for the statutory period). Such data is not used for marketing purposes.
Removing Postra's access on the platform side
Postra stores access tokens for your connected social accounts. When you delete your Postra account these tokens are erased. If you also want to revoke Postra's permissions directly on a platform, you can do so in that platform's settings:
- Facebook/Instagram: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → Postra → Remove
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → Postra → Remove
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions → Postra → Remove
