Getting started

Postra helps you plan and publish social media posts. You write a post once, choose the channels it goes to and pick a time. Postra publishes it for you at that time.

Who it is for

Postra is built for small businesses, such as cafés, shops and local services, and for agencies that look after social media for their clients.

What you can do

Connect your channels. A channel is one account on one platform, such as your Facebook Page or your Instagram business account. You can connect Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts linked to a Facebook Page, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord. Which ones you can add depends on your plan. See Channels.

Write once, adapt per platform. The text you write goes to every channel you pick. When one channel needs something different, you open that channel and change its text, or fill in its own settings, such as a title for YouTube. See the composer guide.

Add images and video. Upload your own files, or reuse anything already in your media library. Depending on your plan, you can also make an AI Image or an AI Video from a short description. See Media and AI.

Design graphics in Studio. Start from Templates or Stock photos, use your Brand Kit colours, or let AI Generate draft a design. Every part stays editable. Studio also has a Video tab for short clips. It works on a laptop or desktop, not on a phone.

Schedule on a calendar. Every scheduled, draft and published post sits on one calendar. Switch between day, week, month and list views. See Calendar.

See how posts do. Analytics shows charts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and X channels. See Analytics.

Ask the AI agent. Tell the Agent what you want to publish in plain words. It drafts and schedules posts across your channels and can make images and videos. If it wants to move or delete a post you already have, nothing happens until you click Approve. See Agent.

Turn your blog into posts. Auto Post watches your blog’s RSS feed. When you publish a new article, AI writes a post about it and schedules it for your channels. Available depending on your plan.

Work with others. Depending on your plan, you can invite teammates in Settings, under Teams. Agencies can send a client an invite link, so the client connects their own account themselves.

The path to your first post

  1. Sign in at app.postra.co.uk. You land on Calendar.
  2. Click Add Channel and connect an account.
  3. Click Create Post, pick the channel and write your post.
  4. Add an image or video if you want one.
  5. Choose a date and time, then click Add to Calendar.
