Settings
Open Settings from the left menu. On a phone, it is in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
The tabs run down the left side of the page. Which tabs you see depends on your plan and on your role in the workspace. Roles are explained in Your team.
| Tab | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| Global Settings | Everyone |
| Teams | Owners and admins, if your plan includes teammates |
| Webhooks | Owners and admins, if your plan includes webhooks |
| Auto Post | Everyone, if your plan includes Auto Post |
| Sets | Everyone |
| Signatures | Everyone |
| Developers | Owners and admins, if your plan includes the API |
| Approved apps | Everyone |
Global Settings
This tab is about you and your browser, not the whole workspace.
Language. Under Interface language, pick the language for the app. The change applies at once.
Time format. Choose AM:PM or 24 hours for the times shown across the app. Until you choose, Postra uses AM:PM if your browser is set to US English, and 24 hours otherwise.
Postra remembers your language and time format in the browser where you set them. On another computer or browser, set them again.
Email notifications. Two switches decide which emails you get about your posts:
- Success emails: an email when a post is published. Off until you turn it on.
- Failure emails: an email when a post could not be published. On until you turn it off.
Each switch saves straight away and shows Settings Updated. These are your own choices. Everyone in the workspace sets their own.
Danger zone. Delete my account removes your account for good. To confirm, type DELETE in the box, then click the button. In the app’s words: Permanently deleting your account erases your data, connected channels (including access tokens), scheduled posts and media. Organizations where you are the only member will be deleted entirely, and any active subscription is cancelled immediately. This action cannot be undone. Workspaces that have other members stay. Postra emails you to confirm the deletion.
Teams
Invite people to your workspace and remove them. See Your team.
Webhooks
Webhooks tell your own server when a post has gone out. The tab title shows how many webhooks you have and how many your plan allows. See Webhooks.
Auto Post
The RSS feeds that Auto Post turns into posts. See Auto Post.
Sets
Saved posts you can start from: channels, their settings and the text. When you click Create Post, Postra offers your sets first. See Sets and signatures.
Signatures
Text you add to posts often, such as a call to action or your hashtags. One signature can be added to every new post on its own. See Sets and signatures.
Developers
Your workspace’s API key, the Node.js SDK, and the setup for connecting AI assistants to Postra. It also holds your own app for “Sign in with Postra”. See Developer settings and Connect your assistant.
Approved apps
Apps you have allowed to use your Postra account, for example an AI assistant you connected by signing in with Postra. Each one shows its name and Authorized on with the date. Revoke access cuts an app off. Postra asks first.
If you have approved nothing yet, the tab says No approved apps. See Connect your assistant.
Billing
Billing is not a Settings tab. It has its own item, Billing, in the left menu. Only owners and admins of the workspace see it. Your subscription, payment details and invoices are there.
Brand Kit
Your brand colours, font, logo and tone are not in Settings either. They live in the Brand Kit in Studio. See Media, Studio and AI.
Logout
Logout from Postra is at the bottom of the tab list, in red. Postra asks Are you sure you want to logout? Click Yes logout to sign out of this browser.
